The Kranjska Gora Alpine Ski Club organized the 12th Mini Vitranc Cup at the Podles ski resort in Kranjska Gora this year. Mini Cup Vitranc at the Podles ski resort in Kranjska Gora, which was attended by 260 children from Slovenian clubs, as well as from Croatia and Macedonia.
The younger categories competed on a shorter course, while the older ones competed on a longer course. The organizers of the Mini Cup Vitranc in Kranjska Gora are promoting skiing among young people. "Events like this are an opportunity for young people to gain experience in competition. I am delighted that so many skiers, coaches, and fans come. The fact is that we need to keep these children skiing and prepare them in the right way to reach a level where they will persevere in this sport. Our goal is still to have at least one member of the Kranjska Gora club competing in the Vitranc Cup soon," said Gregor Benedik, president of ASK Kranjska Gora.
