Statements of competitors before the first run
Alpine skiers are in a good mood and high spirits before today's giant slalom race at the Vitranc Cup. They have inspected the racecourse and praised the organizers for the perfectly prepared ski piste. Now they only hope for a good performance.

Greetings from Bor Pavlovčič
Bor Pavlovčič, a well known young ski jumper from Mojstrana, not far from Kranjska Gora, is the ambassador of the Kranjska Gora Team and a nephew of the former Slovenian alpine skier Uroš Pavlovčič, who also competed at the Vitranc Cup and even stood on the podium in 2001.
