In mid-February, Kranjska Gora hosted famous Slovenians who competed in skiing on the white slopes, socialised on a beautiful day and made a really nice introduction to the Slovenian skiing holiday.
Vili Resnik, Miki Vlahovič, Zvita Feltna, Tjaša Fajdiga, Katrin Kostanjšek, Samuel Lucas, the Dream Man competitors, the Exathlon competitors, Mitja Šinkovec, Manca Šepetavc, Anja Jenko and the list goes on. Traditionally, the Estradniki turned into skiers for a day and competed in a special ski race in Kranjska Gora. This year, former skiers Štefan Hadalin and Bojan Križaj also took part in the race and helped our famous Slovenians with advice at the start of the course.
Štefan Hadalin won the ski race, Deni Eferl (who trained skiing in his youth) came second, and Bojan Križaj came third.
The winner of the race, Štefan Hadalin, told us "I was in a different role than usual, a little less competitive. But I have noticed that some of the stage performers are quite competitive". He added that he took the ski race as fun and enjoyed it immensely. In the women's category, Katrin Kostanjšek, a contestant on the Exatlon show, won. Last year's winner Matko Leben ('Zvita Feltna') narrowly missed out on victory this year.
