At the 65th Vitranc Cup, we're putting the spotlight on the spectators.
This year, we're focusing on visitors and tailoring the event to the mood and experience of everyone who's part of this awesome anniversary. We want to bring them as close as possible to the competitors and the competition. The best view of the course, the big screen, and the action itself is from the large grandstand. Spectators in the standing area in the finish arena can greet the competitors up close as they walk past them from the tent to the cable car that takes them to the top of the Poligon. Those who have opted for the VIP area will this year have the opportunity to watch the race from a spacious terrace, which extends to the immediate vicinity of the race track and offers a spectacular view of the final slope, where competitors fight for the most important hundredths of a second.
The race course has a modernized system for preparing technical snow, new production units have been upgraded, the water supply system has been adapted, and an optical network has been added, which is important for the quality of television signal transmission. Directly below the course, the road connecting Kranjska Gora and Velika dolina has also been repaved.
