A competition with a charity note
On Friday before the Vitranc Cup Kranjska Gora hosted the Grubas Memorial, in memory of the alpine skier Drago Grubelnik, who passed away in a car accident. Bulgarian skier Albert Popov, who miraculously survived the accident, opened the yesterdays race. With the proceeds from the registration fee, they will help the family from Slovenska Bistrica; a single father, who is partially disabled, with two sons left by her mother. A rock concert took place after the end of the race.
