The joint team of the Vitranc Cup and the Golden Fox did a more than excellent job. Thursday's snow made it difficult to prepare the piste, but the boys were helped by machines for processing the ski slopes, which pushed the newly fallen snow off the piste. Despite the help of the machine, it was necessary to prepare the track to the right hardness "on its feet" or with skis.
Ale Vidic, head of the Vitranc cup race course preparation said: 40 cm of fresh snow fell in the lower part of the course, and 60 cm in the upper part, which had to be removed. The predicted low temperatures will do their thing, so I expect a good race tomorrow, where even competitors with higher starting numbers will be able to fight for good results.
