Kranjska Gora and the entire Upper Sava Valley really live with the Vitranc Cup.
In honour of the 60th anniversary of the Vitranc Cup, you are welcome to visit the interesting outdoor museum installation in the Alpine Village, on the square in front of the church in Kranjska Gora, displaying the intertwining of the past and present, and take photos at an attractive retro photo point. The exhibition was designed by Kranjska Gora Tourism.
The Municipal Library in Jesenice, more precisely its Kranjska Gora unit, has prepared an ethnographic evening marking the occasion of the 60th anniversary of this important ski competition. Invited were three guests who were (as spectators or workers) present already at the first competition in 1961: Vlasta Kotnik, Matev Podrekar and Janez mitek. All three of them are still enthusiastically helping with organizing the event.
The Upper Sava Valley Museum went 10 years down the memory loane and prepared a virtual exhibition created at the time when the Vitranc Cup celebrated its half-centrury anniversary.
