On the Vitranc IPC World Cup for Para Alpine skiers.
Between 20 and 23 January 2020, Kranjska Gora hosted the World Cup of Disabled Persons in Technical Disciplines. The members of ASK Kranjska Gora under the leadership of Ales Vidic have taken over the preparation of the competition track and the implementation of all competitions on the grounds, where the Vitranc Cup is home.
The competitors were with the race track and especially the sunny weather, which made them happy throughout the 4 days of the competition.
Disabled athletes displayed exceptional runs in both slalom and giant slalom. The uncompromising assaults on the door and high speeds are just as familiar to them as the competitors at the Vitranc Cup, which is why we believe that the sport of disabled people deserves far more attention than the media currently give them.
