Following a snow inspection, the International Ski Federation (FIS) today confirmed that there is sufficient snow on the race course in Podkoren
Jani Hladnik, our compatriot and former ski coach, visited Kranj Gora today to meet the FIS International Ski Federation's Director of Competitions for Men's Technical Disciplines, Jani Hladnik. Together with the head of the course preparation, Janez mitek, they took a look at the snow conditions on the competition course and the structure and weight of the snow.
Jani Hladnik said, "There is enough snow on the track at the moment and our experience with the Kranj Mountains team shows that the track will be at least as well prepared next weekend as in previous years."
Janez mitek added: "We have a good week of work ahead of us to consolidate the newly fallen snow with the base we prepared in January and February. With the cold nights that are forecast, I hope we will be able to prepare a good track."
